The last shows of “CHICAGO”

On 17th of October at 15.00 and 19.00 will be presented last productions of musical “Chicago” J. Kander.
During 3 years this musical has been one of the brightest productions of our stage, and saying good-bye we invite all admirers of this performance to see the last shows.
Nominees of XVI Highest theatre prize of Saint-Petersburg

Nominees of XVI Highest theatre prize of Saint-Petersburg “Golden Sofit” for 2009-10 season were officially declared.

In nomination “Best female part in genre of musical comedy and musical” are announced:

Tamara Kotova for part of Zinochka in operetta by K. Listov “Sevastopol waltz”
Katazhina Matskevich for part of Carlotta in operetta by C. Millocker “Gasparone”
Karina Chepurnova for part of Madlen in operetta by N. Strelnikov “The Bondmaid”

In nomination “Best male part in genre of musical comedy and musical” is announced:

Anton Oleynikov for part of Genka Bessmertny in operetta by K. Listov “Sevastopol waltz”.
Collaboration with company “Consource”

Research-and-production company “Consource” showed itself on Russian and international market by high-technology researches in the field of light-emitting diode displays of new generation took part in preparation of anniversary theatre week.
Company “Consource” continuously took part in various events organized in St.-Petersburg: International economic forum, patriotic, ceremonial and anniversary events.
First collaboration between company and theatre corresponded with advertising on front of theatre: of world opening night of production by Sergey Banevich “The Secret Garden”. Innovative way of presenting of theatre advertising was noticed by theatre public and society.
For celebrating of 80th anniversary of Theatre of Musical Comedy company “Consource” prepared special present: for the first time in St.-Petersburg appeared video-scenery as one of the basic elements of stage design of festive Gala-concert.
Theatre hopes that such mutually beneficial collaboration will open new possibilities for use of new technologies in theatre art.
