International Gala-Concert of operetta stars

Traditionally during the festive spring days theatre invites you to enjoy program of V Anniversary International Gala-Concert “All for women…”
Soloists from Hungary will perform again on our stage: a brilliant pair Marika Oszvald and David Szabo, audience favorite duet of Zsuzsa Kalocsai and Zsolt Vadasz and captivating Marcela Cerno from Austria.
For the first time Tina Munteanu (Bucharest National Operetta Theatre "Ion Dacian"), the soloist of the Kiev National Academic Theatre of Operetta Galina Gregorchak and the winner of the International Competition "Operetta Land 2011" Ivan Latushko (Moscow) will be our guests.
The best solos will performed by the soloists of the Academic Theatre "Moscow operetta" Oleg Korzh and Maxim Katyrev.
And, of course, during the holidays the leading soloists of the Theatre of Musical comedy will be on the stage: honored artists A.Alekseeva, O. Lozovaya, S. Lugova, winners of international competitions A.Danilov, T.Taranetz, K.Matskevich, N. Savchenko, K. Chepurnova, soloists I. Eremin, I.Korytov, F. Osipov.
In the gala program will be presented parts from works by J.Strauss, F. Lehar, E. Kalman, C. Millocker, F. Raimund, K.M. Ziehrer, F.Suppe, V.Hollender.

In the gala-concert take part chorus, ballet and orchestra of theatre.
Concerts will take place on 6th and 7th of March at 19.00; 8th and 9th of March at 15.00 and 19.00. |

The theatre ticket for 10 roubles

With support of Commitee on culture on 14th of February in St. Petersburg there will pass the city action named "Day of love". This day the cost of the tickets in theatres and concert halls of a city will be 10 roubles.
This evening Theatre of a musical comedy invites spectators to the operetta "Spring parade" by Robert Stolz.
Tickets for the performance can be purchased at DTZK ticket offices from 9 to 12 of February (10.00-21.00)
On February, 13th tickets will not be on sale.
On February, 14th tickets can be bought only at the box office of Theatre of Musical Comedy from 11.00 prior to the beginning of performance (19.00).
Refunds on tickets purchased at standard prices can be obtained from the theatre’s booking office on 14 February. |

Chief invited conductor Peter Guth (Austria) will lead in February two theatre productions: on 23rd of February – “The Merry Widow” F. Lehar, and on 24th of February - operetta “The Bat” J. Strauss. |

From 10th of October 2011 you are welcome to make reservation or purchase your ticket for the show to our theatre via our web page. It’s possible to purchase the ticket by credit card after you have chosen the tickets on the plan of the auditorium.

New production in work

In October theatre has begun to work on the new production – operetta “The Violet of Montmartre”. Production will be staged by Miklos Szinetar (Hungary), known for our audience by his performances “The Merry Widow” F. Lehar and “Madame Ponpadour” L. Fall.
Opening night will be devoted to 130-anniversary from the day of birth of Imre Kalman and is planned to take place in May 2012.
